Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Medicypher clinic management platform. By using Medicypher, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Medicypher platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Medicypher on behalf of a clinic or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Medicypher is a multi-tenant clinic management platform that provides appointment scheduling, patient management, clinical documentation, billing, and related services. The platform is provided as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) on a subscription basis.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Each clinic account may have one primary administrator. The primary administrator is responsible for managing user access within their clinic.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Medicypher offers several subscription plans for clinics and doctors. Plan details, pricing, and features are described on the Pricing page.
- Trial period: New clinics receive a 14-day free trial with access to all Basic-tier features. No payment is required during the trial.
- Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed through Whish Money.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Suspension: Accounts with failed payments after 3 consecutive attempts will be suspended. Data is preserved for 30 days after suspension.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Medicypher for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other clinics' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
- Use the platform to store or transmit malicious code
- Interfere with the platform's availability or performance
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
6. Patient Data and Healthcare Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Medicypher complies with applicable healthcare data protection laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to HIPAA, GDPR, and local health data regulations). You are the data controller for patient data stored in your clinic account. Medicypher acts as a data processor on your behalf.
AI-generated content (clinical notes, aftercare instructions, categorizations) is provided as a drafting aid only. All AI-generated content must be reviewed and approved by a qualified healthcare professional before use.
7. Intellectual Property
Medicypher and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Medicypher and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you input into the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medicypher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request data deletion.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of Medicypher after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
